DVE Aquatic regularly run and/or compete in the following competitions:

Internal Meets

Club Aggregate

Club aggregates are held over 7 sessions on Wednesday nights throughout the year at WaterMarc.

The focus is on swimmers improving their own personal best times rather than on competing against others. Points are awarded for finishing, swimming longer distances and for achieving personal best times.Races are held based on ability.  This is an excellent introduction to competitive swimming with a low level of intensity. Club Aggregates are a fun activity for all members and provide an opportunity for both casual and squad swimmers to experience and/or practice racing in a friendly, familiar environment. They also provide an opportunity to meet people, socialise and build team spirit.

Winter Interclub

Winter Interclub runs for 3 Friday nights respectively, at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC), Albert Park. Swimmers are grouped into relay teams of between 6 and 9 swimmers each according to age and ability. Swimmers compete in relays with their teammates against other clubs from across the state. Pennants are awarded for the premiers and runner-up teams in each grade. This is a perfect way to introduce young swimmers to competitive swimming.

District Interclub

The District Interclub competition runs for three Sunday nights in the winter months, at WaterMarc Greensborough. Similar in format to Winter Interclub, this competition has larger teams and greater variation in relay types.

Metro North

The club competes in a variety of other competitions including Metro North District Age Championships, Encouragements and Scratch Meet.
